Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and the rota, shift, calendar, availability and family-connection details you add. We also collect basic technical information (such as device type and app version) needed to run the service reliably.

How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account, display your rota and calendar, share availability with people you choose to connect with, provide RotaNest Plus features such as the AI planning assistant, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing with family connections

When you connect with a partner or family member, the information you choose to share (for example your availability or shifts) is visible to them according to the sharing settings you select. You control who is connected and can remove a connection at any time.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely and access is restricted. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Third-party services

We use trusted service providers to operate the app, including secure cloud hosting, subscription management through the Apple App Store, and an AI provider that powers the RotaNest Plus assistant. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their function.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information at any time from within the app, or by contacting us. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems.

Children

RotaNest is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
